About Me
Hi, my name is Zhoujun (joe-jun). You can also call me Holly! I am currently a second-year graduate student in the Human-Computer Interaction program at Georgia Tech. I’m a UX designer who aims at creating well-crafted and innovative products that address practical issues.
I wanted to be a psychologist when I was a kid, dreaming about helping people with mental disorders. That led me to study Psychology at Vanderbilt University as an undergraduate. As I get to know more about technology from my learning in Computer Science, I found the combination of both brings exciting opportunities for solving real-life problems. That’s how my path to UX design started.
I still don’t define my interest topics because I am always hungry and excited to learn new things from challenges in fields that I am not familiar with. I would say I simply love the process of absorbing knowledge, solving complex problems, and growing my skills. But I do think I am more familiar with areas like healthcare, B2B, and online communities based on my past experiences.
When I am not designing, I like to do a lot of things. I read books, try different food, play video games, etc. I am also practicing drawing in Adobe Ai, editing videos in Adobe Pr, creating animations in Adobe Ae, building 3D illustrations in Cinema 4D, etc. Don't forget to check my work :)
